Established in 2007, Able Engineering is a civil engineering firm based in Little Compton, Rhode Island that prides itself on delivering precise projects in a timely manner. Meet Our Team
donald J. medeiros
Founder, Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
In 2007, Donald founded Able Engineering after working in the Civil Engineering & Surveying field for more than two decades. He is a licensed engineer in Rhode Island and a licensed surveyor in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He’s also an approved soil examiner under the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Protection. Known for his contributions to the Little Compton community, Donald graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Dominic Ferrante
Project Manager
Dominic is Able’s newest member, joining the team in May of 2022. With an extensive background in business and project management, Dominic is a versatile employee that enjoys hands-on field work, maintaining client satisfaction, and keeping business operations on schedule. He has a Bachelor’s in Business Management with a minor in Economics from UMass Boston.
Ryan Perry
Engineering & Survey Technician, Survey Crew Chief
Skilled in survey field work and plan design, Ryan has been with Able Engineering since 2013. He is an experienced AutoCAD draftsman for both plan and septic system design, and is currently studying Civil Engineering at UMass Dartmouth.
